No Conviction for Mid-Range Drink Driving

Our solicitor Patricia Zeait represented a 47-year-old female at Campbelltown Local Court in relation to a charge of Drive with Mid-Range PCA.

Our client was not a regular drinker and had no prior offences of this nature. Our client had consumed two large homemade vodka pineapples whilst she was in a heated argument with her teenage daughter. Her daughter left their home in a fury. After some time had passed, our client became worried for her daughter’s safety and decided to drive a short distance in an attempt to locate her daughter. On her way she was pulled over by Police for a random breath test and returned a reading of 0.100. Our client’s licence was then suspended on the spot by Police.

Our representation resulted in the Court dismissing this charge without a conviction being recorded against our client. This also meant that our client’s immediate licence suspension was removed and she was spared having her licence disqualified for at least 6 months.

That result was achieved by Patricia’s determination to understand our client’s case fully.  Patricia focussed her submissions on our client’s favourable record, her lapse in judgment considering the stressful circumstances she faced and her need for a licence for work and personal commitments.

This case illustrates the importance of quality representation and the value of a solicitor like Patricia who will ensure she understands your circumstances in full so that she is able to develop the best strategy for your case.

I urgently needed a lawyer for my second day's court attending. I called Go To Court Lawyers at 8am, and I secured an appointment in the afternoon. My lawyer gave me the advice and encouraged me to deal with it on my own, as I am unemployed and my case was pretty small. I appreciate the honesty, his consideration of my financial situation and his encouragement.

We visited the practice and I can't remember the lawyer's name but they were attentive, listened, and gave sound advice. Thankfully we didn't need to take the matter further, but the advice set our mind at ease. We were happy with the service. Thank you
