Theresa Smith holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology. Theresa was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1994, and to the High Court of Australia in 1995.
Theresa commenced as a general practice solicitor, acting in property law and conveyancing, traffic matters, wills and estates, family law and civil law, with a particular focus on motor vehicle accident injury claims. Over the years, she has also gained experience in litigation, commercial law and corporate practice.
Theresa has developed an interest in compliance and governance and enjoys working with local committees, incorporated associations and management committees, to ensure their obligations are being met.
Theresa has a young family and spends her free time enjoying the natural beauty of the regional, coastal area in which they live.
