Rachel McDonald holds a Bachelor of Laws (first class Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wollongong. She obtained her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Australian National University. She is admitted to practice law in Queensland and in the ACT.
Rachel has worked as a solicitor both in private practise in Queensland and for the Commonwealth as a litigation lawyer. Rachel has covered many areas of law including commercial law, family law, debt recovery and wills. She has also tutored in Criminal Law at the University of Queensland.
Rachel is currently completing a PhD in Law focusing on the employment law areas of anti-discrimination, industrial relations and work health and safety. Rachel is keen to assist clients to find the right way forward and resolve their legal matters.
In her spare time Rachel is a singer/songwriter and enjoys fitness classes.
