The Sydney CBD District Court is situated on Level 4 of the John Maddison Tower at 86 Goulburn Street Sydney, between the intersections with Castlereagh and Elizabeth Streets. The Tower is named after John Clarkson Maddison, former NSW Attorney-General and Deputy Leader of the state branch of the Liberal Party.
The civil registry in the Sydney CBD District Court operates Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 4:00pm. The Sydney District Court is located directly opposite a secure parking station on the corner of Goulburn and Castlereagh Streets, and is 700 metres from Central Station or only 250 metres from the Museum Station.
