Atherton's courthouse at eighty-one Main Street is temporarily closed for renovations. Current official arrangements use one temporary location for court sittings and another for registry work. The footage in this video shows the former Main Street courthouse and is archival.
As checked on fourth September twenty twenty-six, listed court sittings are at Destiny Church on Loder Street. Registry enquiries and filing are at twenty-five Mabel Street. The official Queensland Courts listing carries the current registry contact details.
Practice Direction Five of twenty twenty-six applies through the end of December twenty twenty-six. Sittings occur on dates in the Atherton court calendar. Do not travel to Main Street, or to either temporary location, without checking your latest notice and the current list.
Before attending, confirm the venue, date and time on your notice; check the official courthouse page and daily law list; allow time to find the temporary premises; and contact the registry immediately if the location or attendance method is unclear.
