Go To Court Wins Australian Legal Reference Website of the Year Award
Go To Court Lawyers has been named winner of the 2016 Australian Legal Reference Website of the Year by Global Law Experts (GLE).
GLE is the world’s premier online resource by which to locate specialist legal practitioners. Their business is to research and profile legal practitioners and law firms across the globe and across all key practice areas to determine the best practitioner or firm in that particular area in any one of 140 countries. Winners are featured in the GLE Awards Publication, available online to individuals and businesses seeking premier legal services.
In selecting winners for their awards, GLE researched all areas of legal practice and created a shortlist of law firms they considered to be experts within a specialty area. They then combined their results with the more than 120,000 recommendations they received from business directors and persons of high net-worth, in-house counsel and bar associations, independent firms, those who have visited the GLE website, and users of LinkedIn. Finalists were then assessed on the basis of client testimonials, case studies, legal ranking, published material, and the performance and standing of individual lawyers to determine a winner in each category.
Our legal editorial team have worked really hard in the last 12 months to make the Go to Court website an accessible, understandable, and accurate reference tool, not only for the general public but for legal professionals as well.

The website contains thousands of articles relating to all key areas of law across all Australian states and territories. It is designed to break the law down into easy-to-understand language, and is freely available online. It is updated regularly to cover more and more aspects of the law, and to keep up with legislative change.
GTC will be profiled in GLE’s forthcoming Awards Publication which will be available on their website in coming months.

Senior Associate
Laura Turner holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts as well as a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. She is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland. Laura began her legal experience through volunteering with the Student Legal Service offering free advice to students, and through a clerkship in the conveyancing team of a law firm in Hobart. She also volunteered at a Prisoner Legal Service, assisting inmates to obtain parole. Laura has a strong focus on family law, criminal and traffic law, although looks to broaden her knowledge into migration and civil law.
